It’s annoying enough that it will be a better use of time to simply run hardcore as well just to get the third conquest for the no set items GR run, even though I’d been planning on sticking with normal play in S27 after spending about two thirds of S26 in hardcore. I’m sure some players like them, but it’s the D3 feature I would love to have disappear from seasonal requirements entirely, and it’s often the last goal I get around to meeting for guardian. If the set dungeons actually felt like normal gameplay it would be one thing as the number of sets are obtainable in a season with a bit of grind work, but the set dungeons all have incredibly annoying requirements that are way out in left field from the normal set play, and for the vast majority are rather difficult to meet. As a player who plays solo self found only, it’s bad enough to have two of the five conquests be ones that pretty much require group play to complete them, and then to be really annoying, another one is the master 8 set dungeons.
